K.C. is passionate about science and technology and the role each can play in mitigating climate change and reducing air pollution and its associated health effects.  As a lawyer for the International Energy Agency (IEA), K.C. leads a project to modernize and update the legal structures underpinning the IEA’s Technology Collaboration Programmes.  These Programmes are the heart of the IEA’s energy technology network that brings together researchers from across the world to focus on cutting edge energy technologies across all energy types, including important innovation efforts aimed at decarbonizing the global economy.  Prior to coming to the IEA, K.C. worked at the U.S. Department of Energy supporting the development of innovative technologies in the energy sector.  K.C. holds a degree in law (J.D.) from New York University and a degree in Environmental Politics and Policy from the University of Maryland.
